Kee Marcello: Redux Europe & Redux Shine on

Kee’s real name is Kjell Hilding Lövbom, and that’s as metal as it gets here. For some reason Kee thinks it’s a brilliant idea to release “Redux: Europe”, which obviously is re-recordings of songs by Europe, even from the years before he was even in the band (as he claims to own rights to the music from that time as well after buying guitarist John Norum’s share in Europe for a pile of cash a hundred years ago). He is also planning to sue the band for not getting the green he thinks he’s entitled to.

What a fucken mess. Money is driving people fucken nuts.

Do we need this shit, I mean re-recordings of old Europe stuff? No, we don’t. But Kee obviously wants the dough and is willing to do what it takes to get it.

These completely irrelevant re-recordings are not better than the originals and no one is going to give a flying fuck about them. The whole thing irks me big-time, leaves a foul taste in my yapper and I can’t be arsed to give it more exposure than what you just read, simply becoz I don’t think it deserves it for natural reasons.

‘Redux: Shine on’ is Kee’s first solo album and is of course even less interesting than the Europe shit. That’s all I have to say about that.

No matter what, he’s a great guitarist, a decent vocalist and a money-hungry fucko, that much is certain.
